CARNIVAL OF CHAOS cover

Carnival of Chaos. 12 tracks of anarcho punk rock.
"Straight up anarcho-punk. Fucking hardcore, both in sound, and in conviction. It reminds me a lot of the old 80’s hardcore peace punk bands like, like ANTI-SYSTEM, CONFLICT, or a less poppy version of RIOT/CLONE, but I think it bears a lot more in common with OI POLLOI...fast-paced, hardcore, in-your-face punk...This is the kind of punk you just don’t see enough of these days. "(Profane Existence);
"Fast no-nonsense punk that could only come from the Motherland - one part OI POLLOI, one part CONFLICT and the rest spike-y attitude." (Maximum Rock N Roll).
"Twelve hard hitting anarchic attacks on war, politicians and vivisectors" (Suspect Device).
£5 at gigs.

We have a track on the Southern Animal Rights Coalition benefit CD "Until every cage is empty". Click here for more

Also featured on SPEAK compilation CD and have contributed a track to a couple of others recently.

Haywire are an anarchist punk rock band from the South of England. We started off in Weymouth, Dorset in the 80s and during the 90s relocated to Southampton.

We have featured on loads of compilation tapes in the past, as well as featuring on the first ever  A SCREAM FROM THE SILENCE LP released by Looney Tunes records. Tapewise we did "Blood Money", "Freedom?" and "Civilised?".  In the 90s CONSENSUS REALITY and BLIND DESTRUCTION brought out two 7" EPs (see below).

Always more of a live band than one to spend hours in a studio, we have gigged extensively over the years, the majority being benefit gigs. We have lost count how many we've done!
