New Zealand attacks – Christians and Muslims stand “shoulder to shoulder” in condemnation
The statement reads: “Friday’s tragic events in two Mosques in New Zealand is deeply shocking and has caused us all great pain.
“As people of faith, we lock arms in solidarity with all those affected by this heinous crime.
“We share in remembrance and prayer for the deceased, the injured, their families and all those who have suffered hurt.
“We remember particularly the Muslim community in New Zealand, around the world and in Scotland.
“Through expressions of reassurance and resolute support, we stand shoulder to shoulder.”
